Editorial Policy — Peaceful Plantings
Last updated: October 2026. This page explains how content on Peaceful Plantings (https://peacefulplantings.com) is written, checked and corrected, in plain language.
What this site is about
Peaceful Plantings publishes practical guides about sustainable, regenerative and native-plant gardening. Our aim is to explain what is known, what is traditional practice, and what is not proven — and to be clear about when professional advice matters more than anything you read here.
Who writes and checks the content
Articles are written by the Peaceful Plantings editorial team and the site’s editorial team. Before an article is published, a human editor reviews it for accuracy, clarity, safety warnings and whether its claims match its sources. Articles are not published anonymously: each article is attributed to a named author on the site.
We do not claim that every health article has been reviewed by a credentialed medical or veterinary professional. Where professional review has taken place, the article says so. In all cases, health and veterinary content on this site is educational information only — it is not medical or veterinary advice, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional.
How we research
We use published references, traditional practice sources and, where available, research summaries. Where evidence is limited or mixed, we say so rather than presenting a remedy as proven. Product roundups compare real products and their stated ingredients; a product’s inclusion does not mean it is suitable for every person or animal.
Corrections
If you find an error, an out-of-date claim, or a sentence that reads as a promise it should not make, please contact us at sergio@peacefulplantings.com. We correct material errors promptly, and material corrections are noted on the article.
What we will not publish
We do not publish content that promises a cure, that tells readers to stop prescribed treatment, or that presents a serious condition as safe to treat at home alone. For serious, persistent or worsening symptoms, we direct readers to a qualified professional.
