How AI is not used
AI does not decide what we publish, does not replace human judgement, and does not provide medical, veterinary or other professional advice. No article is published by AI alone: a human editor reviews, edits and approves content before publication, and is responsible for its final wording, safety warnings and claims.
Accuracy and sources
AI output can be wrong, out of date or overconfident. That is why human review matters here: claims are checked against sources where possible, uncertain claims are softened or removed, and traditional practice is labelled as traditional practice rather than proven medicine.

Images on this site are original photographs, licensed stock images, or product images supplied by retailers and manufacturers. AI-generated images, where used, are illustrative only and are not presented as photographs of a real product, plant or person.
Your data
We do not feed readers’ personal information into public AI tools. If you contact us, your message is handled by a human, not by an automated publishing system.
